Intimate Places Limited is a 'boutique' hotel management company which
is based in Northern Tanzania and is owned and operated by Marc &
Mia Lawson and Carl Salisbury (also owner of ZanAir).
Base of operations is Mount Meru Game Lodge & Sanctuary, a property
nestled between the peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro and which
lies midway between Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha.
The Lodge is located within 33 acres of mature, well manicured gardens
bounded on one side by the tranquil waters of the Usa River and on the
other by the unique game sanctuary where our wildlife and birdlife
reside. This wildlife and birdlife provide many of our guests with their
first exciting game viewing experience.
The Lodge comprises 15 double or twin en-suite bedrooms and 2 suites.
As you would expect in a property of this standard, the design and
character of the rooms are as individualistic as the lodge itself.
'Intimate Places Camping' is a luxury mobile camping operation which is
based at Mount Meru Game Lodge and which operates all over the Northern
Tanzania Safari circuit. With spacious and comfortable accommodation
set in special campsites booked exclusively for you, we are pleased to
be able to offer you the ultimate Safari experience.
