Founded in 1991, African Outposts supports a mission statement of "Environmental Education Through Tourism", ,and pride themselves as being innovators and market leaders in the field of eco-tourism and environmental education.

This may be defined as the attraction of tourists to unspoiled wilderness areas;a back to nature experience which should enrich the visitor's knowledge and provide financial returns for conservation, thus ensuring wildlife survives for centuries.

African Outposts attempts to utilize those areas and properties which contribute to the upliftment and preservation of the local people and wildlife projects, designed to provide tourists with an opposrtunti to explore Africa - Cradle of Humankind, spectacular jewel, continent of contrasts and majestic landscapes,home to astonishing diversity of wildlife and cultures. Vibrant, colourful and mystical, this vast and endlessly fascinating land bears testimony to millions of years of evolution.

We offer a wide spectrum of services ranging from tour designing and tailor-made itineraries for the most discerning traveller, to day tours, safaris, self-drive special interest and incentive programmes, educational and agricultural tours. We have our own fleet of vehicles from Safari type Toyotas to minibuses and sedan cars.

Our guides are fully qualified naturalists, with extensive knowledge of the environment, wildlife and the politics and people of Southern Africa. Our company is dedicated to client satisfaction and to optimally meeting their needs and expedctations
