The Royal Mara Safari Lodge is a luxury facility located at the popular "Hippo Bend Lagoon" on the Mara River in the Mara North Conservancy of Kenya's Masai Mara. We are on the world famous Great Migration route within proximity of two famous migration river crossing points. Our guests enjoy riverfront luxury tent suite accomodations amidst our two hundred resident hippos. We are situated in the richest wildlife section of the Western Masai Mara in the Mara North Conservancy near herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe and many other herbivores and within proximity of several lion prides, cheetah, leopard and rhino.

Our tent suites are on raised decks with shingle roofs and are luxuriously furnished with hand carved furniture, writing desks, king-size hand carved olive wood beds, double carved sinks, ensuite toilets, bidets and showers, veranda chaises longe, and mini-safes. Guests are assigned a room attendant and personal security and they enjoy elegant dining amidst varied wildlife settings. We offer exciting game drives and game walks as well as cultural visits to local Maasai villages.
