Ride & Walk Botswana (rawbotswana) owns and operates MOTSWIRI CAMP
in the remote, pristine and exceptionally beautiful Selinda Reserve.
This small, independent and exclusive safari camp offers horse riding
(for the experienced rider only), walking and boating in some Botswana's
most untouched areas. Other activities on offer are mekoro rides and
canoeing. Due to the diverse vegetation, the bird life at Motswiri is in
a league of its’ own. In January 2012, a record 121 species were
recorded over 3 days.
Accommodation at Motswiri was stylishly and
comfortably rebuilt in 2010. It meets the latest, exacting standards and
is largely solar powered. We pride ourselves on our personal service,
attention to detail and ability to tailor activities to suit individual
ambitions and interests. Sited on the raised banks of the Selinda
Spillway, the five tents are airy, spaced well apart and each has its
own self-contained shower, loo and larged decked verandah and can be
configured for double bed or twin accommodation.
We welcome families and
have a specially designed family tent. Motswiri boasts some of the
industry’s most experienced and specialist guides and is fast setting
new standards for the soft adventure safari industry. For the more
adventurous, or for those wishing to add a fantastic dimension to their
stay at Motwiri, we offer camping at our comfortable, yet rustic and
