KINASI is a small, private lodge situated in a coconut and cashew
plantation facing Chole Bay on Mafia Island. It provides a luxury
standard of accommodation and service in fourteen bungalows (one is a
family unit with two bedrooms; a second is a two-storey suite), each
with a large verandah and ensuite bathrooms.
There are two restaurants,
swimming pool, full dive and snorkel centre with instructor, tourism
manageress for excursions, historical tours, picnics by boat and road,
cultural activities and nature walks. Kinasi operates its own light
aircraft service for guests, connecting Dar es Salaam, Selous and
Zanzibar. all activities and services are individually planned each day
in an informal but professional environment.
