Born some 10 years ago from the passion to share West Central Africa with the world, Jengi Expeditions- formerly called Rainbow Tours & Expeditions – is a division of African Travel Management based in Douala, Cameroon.

West Central Africa which includes Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, DRC, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tomé & Principé and Chad has one of the most impressive biodiversity in the world; It shelters 50% of the flora and fauna of the African continent with more than 400 mammal species amongst which the most important population of great apes in the world, as well as half the continents elephant population, and more than 900 bird species of which 36% are endemic and more than 10 000 plant varieties, 3000 of which are found only in the area. Cameroon has some of the most astonishing landscapes in Africa.

From the rainforest of the Congo basin to the semi-arid Sudan savannah extending to Lake Chad, with the culturally enchanting western highlands, the volcanic range with Mount Cameroon at 4100m, Cameroon presents a refreshing variety of splendid landscapes offering unforgettable moments.

We specialize in offering the Congo Basin and Great Apes experiences from our fixed and mobile camps with safety, comfort and luxury for the discerning traveller.
