Bahr el Jebel Safaris is the safari company for South Sudan. We are a
pioneer into this country that only declared independence July 9, 2011.
Our logistical office is located in Juba, however our corporate office
is in Mexico. We offer the following safaris:
12 day flying in Safari to Boma National Park during the dry season November to March.
4 day safaris to Nimule National Park all year, 4,5,8 & 15 day safaris to Bandingalo National Park all year, 5 day boat trip into the great Sudd and to Zeraf National Park all year, 4 day fishing trip on the River Nile all year, 4 day Dinka Village safari all year, 4 day Toposa Village safari all year, 8 day "summer special" safari for June, July, Aug 2013.
Important facts
about South Sudan: the greatest migration of mammals exists in South
Sudan where almost 2 million animals are following the grass, visas can
be obtained upon arrival at Juba Intl Airport (however entry letters for
boarding the aircraft must be obtained before departure), good flight
connections daily from nairobi, addis & entebbe. Great birding.
Great fishing. Visiting tribal people that have been cut off from the
world for 25 years, is part of the experience.
The largest park in
Africa- Boma is almost completely roadless, a vast wilderness.
