Ultimate Safaris is a well established Namibian company with a justly
deserved reputation for excellence in the English speaking market. We
are proud to offer high-quality, tailor-made safaris throughout Namibia,
conducted in specially modified safari vehicles (land cruiser) driven
by professional and experienced naturalist guides. Most of the lead
guides and camp support team have been with the company for around ten
years, so it goes almost without saying that they know exactly what a
'True African Safari' is all about.
Not only are our guides highly
qualified, but each has a specific area of expertise including
photography, local culture, birding, zoology, and documentary film
making. Together they possess a veritable treasure-trove of knowledge
and are always up to the chalenge of answering questions and satisfying
the particular interests of each of our guests. Most of our safaris
include a balance of time spent in pleasant and welcoming lodges and
hotels with time spent in our own highly serviced and vey comfortable
'mobile camps'.
Camp crews normally travel independently to have camps
set up ready in advance of our guests' arrival. However, we also provide
safaris based entirely on fixed accommodation in areas where suitable
facilities are available. For visitors with limited time, and for those
who find Namibian distances to be a little daunting, we can arrange
fly-in safaris. We also arrange light aircraft charters where this makes
sense on some of the longer legs in order to reduce the amount of time
spent in the vehicles. The most common comment made by guests is that
their safari with us has been "the holiday of a lifetime", and this is
something we never tire of hearing.
