Saruni Camps - Kenya
Saruni Camps is a group of luxury, small properties in Kenya,
established in 2003.The first property is called Saruni and is located
in the Masai Mara (www.sarunicamp.com); the second one is called Saruni
Samburu (www.sarunisamburu.com) and is located in Kalama Community
Wildlife Conservancy, bordering Samburu National Reserve. The third
property is called Saruni Wild and and is located in Mara North
Conservancy, in the Masai Mara.
Samburu and the Masai Mara are well established wildlife sanctuaries with some of the highest densities of wildlife in the world. In both lodges the activities available are day and night game drives, game walks, birdwatching, bush dinners, bush lunches. Volunteers also spend days at the home, helping build, paint, plant vegetable gardens or just playing with the children and bringing some joy into their lives.

Our volunteers are directly involved in eradicating invasive plants, rehabilitating degraded land and collecting data for studies to better understand some of Africa’s most vulnerable species.
