We are pleased to introduce Ngerende Island Lodge and Ngerende in the
Wild both located in the world's famous Masai Mara, Kenya, an
area abundant with wild animals.
Ngerende has been stylishly designed to provide the ideal safari
experience where comfort, luxury and outstanding personal service
combine naturally with the beautiful wilderness of the Masai Mara. The
lodge offers exclusive accommodation, as we can sleep just 14 guests in
individual and contemporary designed suites.
All seven suites offer
stunning views of the Mara River. Whilst in the main building, the
dining room extends onto the veranda overlooking the Mara River and the
nearby hippo pod. There is an infinity swimming pool overlooking one of
the largest Hippo Pods in the Northern Mara and a spa offering
therapeutic treatments.
Ngerende in the Wild offers the ultimate in tented luxury complete with
double beds, Egyptian linen, and custom made rugs, comfortable seats,
hammock, cutlery, and private bar and fine dining in the wild but also
maintain a vital interaction with nature blending with the landscape.
Each suite has massage showers, flushing toilets and is supported by its
own kitchen chefs, butlers, exclusive use of vehicle and experienced
professional driver guides.
The Camp and Lodge have initiated projects which support, empower and
provide education and a better future for the Kenyan communities not
forgetting the conservation of the wildlife and the environment.

RPS Portfolio - Netherlands
Robin Pope Safaris offers personalised and unforgettable safari
experiences, combining genuine African bush with simple yet stylish
luxury. Each property is unique in atmosphere and location. Operating
exclusively in Zambia and Malawi we offer a true taste of Africa’s
remoteness and warmth.
One journalist has described the Robin Pope Safaris experience as follows: “Their camps take, at most, a dozen pampered visitors, every one of whom is treated as a personal house guest and new best friend… a benchmark for excellence and their guides are astonishingly knowledgeable naturalists.
Founded in 1986, Robin Pope Safaris is based in the unspoilt South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, home to perhaps the greatest variety of wildlife on earth - including leopard, lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo and more than 400 species of birds. Each of the 8 operations offers a true wilderness experience with stylish accommodation, attentive service, fine dining and the best safari guides in Africa.
These are superbly complemented by Pumulani, our beach lodge which offers the ultimate luxury on Lake Malawi. In the south of the country in Majete National Park we have Mkulumadzi – another luxury lodge in a stunning location offering a fantastic mix of wildlife including rare antelope species and black rhino. Operating lodges within fragile ecosystems and alongside local communities carries with it a great deal of responsibility. Our Responsible Tourism Policy helps us ensure that we reduce our negative footprint and positively impact our environment.
